Winners Announced in the Regional Stage of the Taras Shevchenko Competition

Despite all the challenges posed by the war, the regional stage of the XV International Language and Literature Competition named after Taras Shevchenko was successfully held in person, and 64 best connoisseurs of the great Kobzar's work were selected.

Special thanks go to the educational institutions that prepared the most winners:

• Chornomorsk Academic Lyceum named after T. Shevchenko
• Baltic Lyceum No. 1 named after O. Honchar
• Support Institution-Lyceum No. 3 of the Berezivska City Council
• Educational institutions of Odesa

We also take pride in the winners from the Odesa region: Avangardivska, Nerubaivska, Novoborysivska, Velykomykhailivska, Usativska, Artsizka, Velykodalnytska, Plakhtiivska, Borodinska, as well as the cities of Izmail and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi.

Not only school students competed. High results were shown by students from vocational, professional pre-higher, and higher educational institutions, including:

• DNZ "Odesa Professional Lyceum of Construction and Architecture"
• VSP «Odesa Professional College of Computer Technologies ODUCU»
• KZ «Odesa Professional College of Arts named after K.F. Dankevich»

A total of 188 participants took part in the competition, but 64 of them were awarded the title of winners.
