Restoration of Odesa Lyceum Following Attack
As a result of a massive drone strike, Odesa Lyceum No. 125, which serves around 500 students, has suffered major damages.
A total of 120 windows (700 m²) were shattered in 30 classrooms, with 30 doors damaged and heating and electrical systems partially affected.
Ceilings in 30 classrooms were damaged, with 100 desks and 200 chairs effectively destroyed. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
«We are currently working on restoring the heating system. The kindergarten will resume operations on Monday, November 11. Students will study remotely for a week, and by November 18, they will return to classes in two shifts in the less affected classrooms. The restoration of the most damaged part of the building is planned to be completed by November to January», stated the director of the city’s Department of Education and Science, Olena Buinevych.
