Charity Fair at Odesa Gymnasium: Supporting the Armed Forces

30 September 2025

On September 30, Odesa Gymnasium No. 125 in Slobodka hosted its annual charity fair.

#Coffee_with_Education — a warm and sincere event that brought together educators, students, and parents.

This year, the fair was special: the school, which suffered from a hostile attack last year, came back to life and symbolically responded to the aggressor by raising funds for the Armed Forces.

Every hryvnia goes towards combat medics: for tourniquets, bandaging materials, and medicines.

The school hosted a true Ukrainian fair with aromatic coffee, homemade treats, children's performances, workshops, and heartfelt hugs.

«This is a very important event. Students, parents, and educators are all doing a good deed together. And all funds are for our military support,» noted the city mayor, Hennadiy Trukhanov.

Since 2015, on the eve of Teacher's Day, the educational family of Odesa has been organizing a marathon of good deeds: schools and kindergartens hold performances, workshops, and fairs to raise funds for the needs of military personnel, the wounded, and internally displaced persons. During this time, more than 10 million hryvnias have been collected, which have been directed towards drones, electronic warfare equipment, clothing, stoves, boats, cars, and most importantly — to save lives.
