Inclusive Beach Preparation at Dolphin: Summer Season Readiness
Maria Popova, the representative of the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights in the Odessa region, inspected the inclusive beach at Dolphin to assess its preparation for the summer season.
Currently, work is underway to install walkways, and all recreational areas are being regularly inspected for accessibility. Local authorities, along with experts from the Barrier-Free Council, including veterans and people with disabilities, conduct regular inspections.
Maria Popova confirmed that the preparations are proceeding properly, and the city will ensure all necessary services for the beach's operation, including water supply, sewage, and other essentials.
"We are looking forward to the opening of the updated inclusive beach, provided there are no obstacles," she noted.
Head of the Primorsky District Administration Marat Korolyov stated that another inclusive beach is being prepared for opening this season at the 11th station of the Great Fountain, with renovation work currently ongoing.
All matters concerning the preparation of inclusive locations, including beaches, are under the personal supervision of the mayor, Gennady Trukhanov.
It is worth noting that the year 2025 has been declared the Year of Accessibility in Odessa.
