Inclusive Spaces for Veterans in Odesa

Members of the Accessibility Council's expert group under the Odesa mayor visited potential locations to establish recreational and rehabilitation areas for veterans and persons with disabilities. 

Among the planned projects is an inclusive beach at the 11th station of the Great Fountain and an outdoor sports complex at the «Dolphin» beach, designed to be accessible to everyone. 

The group included veterans, public representatives, and individuals with disabilities, in addition to city officials. 

During the site visit, all essential aspects were thoroughly documented, including the need for tactile paving, ramps, additional handrails, and specialized swimming equipment. 

The results of this site meeting will be processed by the relevant departments shortly.
