Tragic Loss: Honored Ukrainian Artist Vladyslav Horai Killed in Sumy Region
In a tragic loss, on June 8th in Sumy region, the esteemed soloist of the Odessa National Opera, Honored Artist of Ukraine Vladislav Horai, lost his life while carrying out a volunteer mission.

Vladislav Vikentiyovych's voice was known worldwide, while his heart belonged to Ukraine. He was not only a talent on stage but also a beacon of strength, dignity, and kindness in life. Even in the darkest times, he never stood aside – he helped, volunteered, and supported others.
Additional Information: According to the Odessa National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet website, Vladislav Horai was a laureate of the national chamber music competition in Khmelnytskyi and won an award at the International Vocalists Competition named after Antonin Dvorak in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic. He had been a member of the Odessa National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet since 1993 and received the honorable title of Honored Artist of Ukraine in 2013. His repertoire included over twenty opera roles.
