Increase in Job Opportunities for Individuals with Disabilities in Ukraine
Over the past two years, the proportion of job vacancies for individuals with disabilities in Ukraine has increased from 7% to 12%.
This is highlighted in a study conducted by Work.ua.
The number of job offers suitable for individuals with disabilities has risen from 4,315 in January 2023 to 12,092 in March 2025.
Available positions for individuals with disabilities include: sales consultant, sales manager, driver, customer service manager, cashier, accountant, cleaner, warehouse worker, call center operator, pharmacist, general laborer, cook, and security guard.
Work.ua also analyzed which job roles have the highest percentage of offerings for individuals with disabilities:
bank branch specialist (57% of all vacancies for this position are suitable for individuals with disabilities);
- cashier-operator (56%);
- solderer (40%);
- German language instructor (36%);
- Polish language instructor (34%);
- international driver (33%);
- financial consultant (32%).
Additionally, Work.ua analyzed sectors with the highest percentage of job vacancies marked "For Individuals with Disabilities":
- Non-profit, charitable, and community organizations — 26%;
- Finance, banking, insurance — 26%;
- Media and press — 25%;
- Security and protection — 25%;
- Machine engineering — 19%.
