Enhancing Regional Policy: New Initiatives from the Artziz Community

The Artziz community from the Bolhrad region participated in an extended meeting of the presidium of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine, held in Kyiv, chaired by Andriy Yermak. The event took place via video conference and gathered over 330 participants from across the country, as reported by the Odesa Regional State Administration.

During the meeting, critical issues regarding regional development, implementation of governmental initiatives in communities, and legislative support for regional policy were discussed.

Particular emphasis was placed on the need to enhance communication between local and central authorities, enabling quicker responses to challenges and resolving community issues.

As a result of the voting, Liliya Pashinna was elected as the new head of the Congress Office, leading the Ukrainian delegation in the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe.

The Artziz community, as an active participant in the Congress, will continue to be involved in shaping local development policies, advocating for the interests of its residents and promoting the implementation of European governance standards.
