Water Quality in Odessa's Wells: Research Findings
Recent analysis of the water quality in 16 wells in Odessa confirmed that it meets hygienic standards.
This information was reported by the Odessa City Council.
Experts from the State Institution «Odessa Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine» conducted the research under an agreement with the KP «Service Center». Testing is carried out monthly.
According to microbiological analyses as of March 31, 2025, the water in the wells meets the sanitary requirements of DSanPiN 2.2.4-171-10. All research protocols are available for review directly at the wells.
It is noted that about 45,000 residents of Odessa use water from these wells daily. The depth of the boreholes ranges from 111 to 149 meters, with an average consumption of 8–12 cubic meters of water per day per complex.
