Community Efforts in Odessa: Tree Planting Event

A significant community service event occurred in Odessa.

In Preobrazhensky Park, 100 new trees were planted. Overall, nearly 200 trees were planted in various locations across the city, including acacias, Japanese sophoras, maples, and ashes.

Along Uspensky Street and on French Boulevard, 33 Japanese sophoras and 32 acacias were planted at the sites of removed stumps.

«Last year, the municipal enterprise «Miskzelentrest» acquired new stump removal equipment. What used to take a whole day now only requires half an hour to remove a stump. We plant new trees in the cleared areas. Thank you to everyone who participated,» — said Odessa Mayor Gennady Trukhanov.

Additionally, residents teamed up with municipal workers to plant trees on Mykolaivska Road and clean up the slopes along the Health Trail.
