Collaborative Efforts to Enhance Emergency Response

Odessa rescuers participated in a video meeting with representatives of the "Delta" Emergency Situations Inspectorate in Tulcea County (Romania), the Tulcea County Police Inspectorate (Romania), the "Borderlink" Association (Romania), and the Joint Secretariat of the Interreg NEXT Program "Romania-Ukraine 2021-2027" to plan the signing of a grant agreement for the project "Joint Response to Fires, Floods in Hard-to-Reach Areas and Search and Rescue Operations - F.F.&S.A.R" (Project ID: ROUA00400).
The project proposal has received funding approval, and work is currently underway to sign the grant agreement and commence project implementation. As part of the project, the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Odessa region plans to acquire a specialized all-terrain vehicle.
