Ukrainian Innovations at CEATEC-2024

The 25th anniversary CEATEC-2024 advanced technology exhibition took place in Chiba, Japan.

This year, Ukrainian companies showcased their innovations at Asia's largest international exhibition for the second consecutive year.

The delegation from the Odesa City Council presented a unified stand featuring advancements in the IT sector.

Director of the "Odesa 5T Grant Office" Tamila Afanasieva showcased developments from the IT Family Odesa cluster and the Faculty of Cybersecurity at the International Humanitarian University.

The Odesa delegation also attended the 13th Asia Smart City Conference in sister city Yokohama.

The conference gathered global leaders in urban development and innovators in technology.

During their stay in Japan, the Odesa delegation had protocol meetings with the mayor of Yokohama, city council leadership, and the Ukrainian Ambassador to Japan.

Additionally, they held discussions with representatives from Yokohama's municipality, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and the UN Development Programme office.

In collaboration with several Japanese technology firms, key infrastructure projects for Odesa were discussed.

Talks were also held with members of the National Commission of Japan for UNESCO, focusing on the preservation and restoration of cultural heritage sites.

Japanese representatives expressed solidarity with the people of Ukraine in their fight for freedom and openness to cooperation with the Odesa community.
