Preparation for the Heating Season in Odesa
The Deputy Mayor of Odesa, Hanna Pozdnyakova, and the director of the municipal enterprise «Heat Supply of Odesa», Valerii Ivanov, held a press conference about the company's readiness for the upcoming heating season.
«As of today, all boilers under the company's management are ready for operation. According to the schedule, we have completed pressure testing of the heating surfaces of all boilers, repaired identified damages, and carried out hydraulic testing of all heating networks», - Valerii Ivanov reported.
«I would like to emphasize that the tariff for residential consumers remains at the level established on February 24, 2022, which is 1813 UAH/Gcal. As for the exact date for the start-up of the boilers, we do not have a specific date. The heating season begins following a directive from the Mayor of Odesa if the average daily temperature remains at +8 degrees Celsius or lower for three consecutive days. In such cases, the enterprise will first provide heat to social facilities and later to residential consumers. Based on the Hydrometeorological Center's data, we can state that the heating season in Odesa will start in November», - noted Hanna Pozdnyakova.
