Heating Metering Systems in Odesa: Modern Approaches

All residential buildings in Odesa connected to centralized heating supply are now fully equipped with certified heat meters.

Experts from the municipal enterprise «TMO» have successfully installed 268 new metering devices. These meters are put in place in buildings where old devices have failed or were never installed.

Additionally, the specialists are also uncovering instances of meter theft, necessitating the installation of new devices.

Residents of buildings with meters pay for heating based on actual consumption data.

If no meter is installed, charges are based on the government Methodology No. 315, which calculates heating costs according to heat load, duration of heating supply, and average monthly outdoor temperature.
