Unity of Youth and Veterans: Celebrating National Unity Day
In honor of National Unity Day of Ukraine, a patriotic event was held in Odesa, organized by the Department of Education and Science. This event brought together high school parliament members and representatives from the veteran organization ‘Veteran HUB’.
The meeting focused on the theme of generational unity and fostering national consciousness among the youth of Odesa.
Participants formed a ‘circle of unity’ and sang the National Anthem of Ukraine together, emphasizing the importance of territorial integrity and national spirit.
During the activity ‘Common Map of Ukraine’, the youth and veterans visualized the unity of the country’s regions.
At the panel discussion titled ‘What Unites Us?’, the participants discussed civic responsibility and the role of each citizen in strengthening statehood.
The highlight of the event was an open dialogue between veterans and students, where the ‘Q&A’ format allowed for sharing experiences and discussing common values.
At the end of the meeting, participants were presented with symbolic talismans by representatives of the high school parliament as a sign of unity and mutual support. Unity is not just about territory; it is also about shared responsibility for the future of our nation.
