Warning: New Phishing Emails Impersonating Nova Poshta

Cybercriminals are once again sending fake emails to Ukrainians, claiming they have debts to "Nova Poshta". This was reported by the company’s press service.
"These emails are not related to "Nova Poshta" or any other company in the NOVA group", – emphasized Nova Poshta.
It is noted that scammers copy the company logo, change the sender's address, and pressure individuals with fictitious debts to trick them into opening attachments or clicking on links.

The company urged people to follow simple safety guidelines:

1.  Check the sender's address. Emails from "Nova Poshta" come only from official domains. Be alert for suspicious changes or spelling errors.
2. Do not open emails from unknown senders and do not click on links.
3. If you have opened a suspicious attachment or clicked on a dubious link, it is advisable to change your passwords on your accounts as soon as possible and check for any active sessions. If you detect any suspicious activity, terminate all unknown sessions through your account security settings.
4. Enable two-factor authentication for your email, messaging apps, banking, and other important accounts — this significantly increases protection against unauthorized access.
5. If you receive such an email — move it to spam and delete it. This will help reduce the risk of further distribution and protect other users.

"The cybersecurity department of Nova Poshta is already working to halt this phishing campaign and is collaborating with relevant services to limit the scammers' activities", – the message states.
