Greening Odesa: New Plants in the Parks

The specialists from the municipal enterprise «Miskzelentest» are actively working on the greening of Odesa. Yesterday, they planted 80 miscanthus shrubs in the Heroes of the Border Guards Square. 

Last week, 200 miscanthus bushes were planted in Victory Park. 

This autumn, a total of 3000 miscanthus shrubs are planned to be planted across various districts of the city.

Miscanthus is a beautiful perennial grass that decorates the landscape year-round.
In the fall, its leaves change to shades of yellow, brown, or red, while in summer, it produces soft fluffy inflorescences. 
This plant is quite hardy, frost-resistant, and tolerates drought well once established.
