Infrastructure Recovery in Odesa: New Hopes

Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov visited the residential complex located at Prince Yaroslav the Wise Avenue, 32 at the invitation of the residents of the HOA "White House".

During the heavy rain on September 30, 2025, the parking lot of the complex was completely flooded, damaging the electrical, water, heating systems, and the fire safety equipment of the 24-story building.

At the mayor's request, energy workers managed to temporarily restore electricity supply to the building while recovery works are in progress.

"We are sincerely grateful to the construction company 'Stikon' for their support in purchasing electrical equipment for the building. Pumps are currently being installed to ensure water supply to the upper floors. I hope that by Thursday, the water will return to the residents. However, full restoration of heating and fire safety systems will take some more time," noted Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.

The building at Prince Yaroslav the Wise Avenue, 32 was damaged during a hostile attack in February of this year. A children's clinic and kindergarten were also damaged at that time. Currently, the recovery projects for these two facilities are undergoing examination. The demolition of the kindergarten building is ongoing, and a new kindergarten will be constructed on its site.
