Community Clean-Up Event in Odesa

Last Saturday, a community clean-up event was held in Odesa at the T.G. Shevchenko park in honor of World Cleanup Day.

This initiative was organized by the national youth movement "Let’s do it Ukraine" in collaboration with the international movement "Let’s Do It World". City workers from the municipal enterprise "Miskzelentrest" also participated.

Approximately 200 individuals took part in the clean-up, clearing the park area of litter. The municipal enterprise "Miskzelentrest" facilitated the removal of the collected waste.

On September 20, 2025, Ukraine joined millions of activists from 211 countries in the World Cleanup Day. Residents of cities, towns, and villages united for a common goal – to clean up the environment and foster a culture of cleanliness. In 2024, over 404,000 participants took part, cleaning more than 26,000 locations across 24 regions of Ukraine. Ukrainians abroad also joined the initiative. According to international rankings, Ukraine ranked 11th among 211 participating countries.
