Hotel Restored After Attack

«We have reopened the doors of our legendary hotel — a symbol of elegance and true Odesa hospitality», — stated the management of the «Bristol» hotel on their Facebook page.

The administration noted that to ensure guest safety, there is 24-hour security, video surveillance, and a designated shelter.

Bristol — A Part of Odesa's History

«Bristol» is one of Odesa's architectural jewels, with a history spanning over a century, and throughout the years, it has welcomed renowned writers, actors, and politicians. The building was designed in the neo-baroque style by two illustrious architects: Alexander Bernardazzi and Adolf Minkus.

This is the only hotel in the city with two presidential suites, as well as exclusive themed rooms designed by leading global designers like Fendi, Missoni, and Ralph Lauren. The hotel comprises 113 apartments, a spa center with panoramic city views, a ballroom, and three conference halls.

The hotel's revival began in 2002 when the Vertex Hotel Group acquired the abandoned building and embarked on an eight-year renovation, investing $17.5 million.

Unfortunately, all this luxury and beauty suffered significant damage following the Russian missile strike on January 31, 2025. Some hotel staff were injured, but fortunately, no one lost their life.
