Tragedy in Odesa Region: Body Found During Fire Extinguishing

In the Odesa region, rescuers discovered a man's body while extinguishing a fire. The flames engulfed an area of approximately 100 square meters, igniting amidst dry vegetation on open land.

According to the State Emergency Service, the incident occurred yesterday, August 31, during the day in the Bolhrad district. In the village of Karakurt on Arnautska Street, dry vegetation caught fire.

"The fire was extinguished over an area of about 100 sq. m. A deceased citizen (born in 1986) was found at the scene. The cause of the fire is being established. One unit of equipment and four firefighters from the State Emergency Service were involved," the statement said.
