The President expressed gratitude to everyone ensuring our safety and to those working towards the development of Ukrainian aviation.

"We will do everything possible to ensure that Ukrainian skies are always peaceful and safe. Happy Aviation Day to you, dear aviators!" he added.

Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal also congratulated aviators in his Facebook post, stating: "Today we thank everyone who defends our country in the skies: pilots, crews, engineers. You are true heroes working every day for our victory."

Thanks to your dedication and professionalism, millions of Ukrainians can live in peace and tranquility," noted the Commander of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Anatoliy Kryvonozhko.

He remarked that the bravery and self-sacrifice of aviators save lives and instill confidence in the hearts of Ukrainians.
