Tragedy in Mizhlimanske: Fire Claims Man's Life

Last night, a residential house on Vysneva Street in Mizhlimanske village, Odessa region, was engulfed in flames. The fire destroyed the house and an attached structure. During the firefighting efforts, rescuers discovered the body of a man whose identity is currently unknown.

According to the State Emergency Service of the Odessa region, the fire spread to the private dwelling and its annex. Although the flames were localized and extinguished, the body of the deceased male was found during the operation.

Law enforcement is working to identify the deceased. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are being investigated. Preliminary versions suggest careless handling of fire or technical malfunctions.

"During the firefighting process, the body of a man was found, and his identity is being established," the State Emergency Service reported.

To extinguish the blaze, 3 units of equipment and 13 firefighters were deployed. Additionally, 1 unit of equipment and 4 rescuers from the National Guard were involved. Collaborative efforts allowed for the rapid containment of the fire.

The fire covered an area of 95 square meters, including both the residential property and the annex. Firefighters operated under challenging nighttime conditions to ensure the safety of nearby structures.
