Ukrzaliznytsia Takes Action Against Fraudulent Users

Ukrzaliznytsia has blocked 271 users who were misusing the ticket purchasing application.

These users attempted to utilize the UZ app, designed for personal ticket purchases, for alternative purposes:

• creating multiple associated accounts to circumvent blocking and buy tickets;
• holding tickets without proceeding to payment, seemingly waiting for an 'order';
• purchasing numerous tickets under different names and engaging in other activities caught by the anti-fraud system.

In line with financial institution standards, Ukrzaliznytsia has strengthened client identification and launched a monitoring system for abnormal user actions during the use of our online services,” the statement reads.
