Fire in Odesa: Quick Response Saves Lives

Today in Odesa, on Vadym Korzhenko Street, a fire occurred in a ground-floor apartment of a four-story residential building.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service.
Emergency units responded with increased alertness. Firefighters promptly extinguished the fire, preventing it from spreading to other apartments. During the firefighting efforts, rescuers saved nine individuals using a ladder and stairs from the upper floors. Fortunately, there were no injuries. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are under investigation. A total of 10 pieces of equipment and 38 firefighters were involved from the emergency services, along with 1 piece of equipment and 2 personnel from the Municipal Rescue and Diving Service.
