Barrier-Free Movement in Odesa: New Initiatives

The project "Movement Without Barriers" is ongoing in Odesa. 

An online meeting was recently held with the teams of the "Movement Without Barriers"  initiative, chaired by the Minister for Community Development, Territories, and Infrastructure of Ukraine, Oleksiy Kuleba, along with Deputy Minister Natalia Kozlovska. 

During the meeting, the progress of the project in Odesa was discussed, including already implemented initiatives and future plans. 
The city has received new proposals for implementing barrier-free solutions that are now moving into the practical phase. Among the priorities is involving businesses in adapting entrances to commercial establishments according to modern state building standards. 

Some reconstruction work has already begun on sections included in the first stage of the barrier-free route. 

Odesa remains a leader in implementing barrier-free solutions.
