A New Arrival in Odesa: Baby Born on City Day

This year, Odesa welcomed a new life on City Day with the arrival of a baby girl.

Ksenia was born at 00:01 on September 2 at maternity hospital No. 5.

She weighed 3.5 kilograms and measured 52 cm. Ksenia is the second child in her family. Both mother and daughter are doing well.

In Odesa, there is a lovely tradition of bringing gifts to the maternity hospital where the first baby of City Day is born.

Thus, Odesa's mayor, Gennady Trukhanov, congratulated the first newborn and all the new parents on this special day.

“Congratulations to all newborns and their families on our city's birthday. May the children grow healthy and happy in a free Ukraine,” said Mayor Gennady Trukhanov.

On City Day, a total of 19 children were born in Odesa - 12 girls and 7 boys.
