New Opportunities: Dual Citizenship in Ukraine

On Tuesday, President Volodymyr Zelensky officially signed a law regulating dual citizenship issues in Ukraine.
This was announced by Zelensky himself.
The president emphasized that the law, passed by the Verkhovna Rada on June 18, includes significant amendments regarding the acquisition and retention of Ukrainian citizenship.
"The introduction of dual citizenship will enable us to establish stronger legal foundations for uniting our great nation – millions of Ukrainians across all continents, as well as representatives of other nations who have connected their fate with Ukraine", he stressed.
According to him, Ukraine can now begin identifying the first partner countries with which dual citizenship will be implemented.
