New Veteran Section in the Diia App
The Ministry of Veterans Affairs and the Ministry of Digital Transformation have announced the launch of a new section in the mobile app "Diia", named "Veteran Pro". This initiative is focused on aiding military personnel, veterans, and the families of the fallen.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal made this announcement during the presentation of the new digital space Veteran Pro in Kyiv, as reported by "Interfax-Ukraine".
"Today we are taking another step towards supporting our defenders by introducing the digital ecosystem "Veteran Pro", which is exclusively designed for the veteran community.
This system provides veterans with access to various existing state support services, including programs for adaptation and reintegration into civilian life," Shmyhal stated.
He added that this ecosystem will continuously evolve, growing to include new services and initiatives that cater to the needs of defenders.
According to Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, veterans will soon have the option to change the app icon for "Diia" to a version styled for veterans.
Furthermore, the app will automatically adapt when used by a veteran, offering tailored services and support.
Specifically, the new features in "Diia" are aimed at various groups of citizens: war veterans, affected participants of the Revolution of Dignity, family members of deceased war veterans, and family members of fallen defenders of Ukraine.
