Ukrainian Navy Forces: Guardians of Security on Water and Air

The Ukrainian Navy Forces are steadfast in defending the country's waters, safeguarding the airspace, and doing everything possible for national security.

This was highlighted by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in a Facebook post commemorating Navy Day.

Together with all defense forces, the Navy has demonstrated that Ukraine is equipped to protect its interests.

“There will be no Russian landings in Odesa, the “Moscow” has sunk, Snake Island is under our control, 28 enemy ships and one submarine have been destroyed or damaged, and the “grain corridor” continues to operate, ensuring global food security,” emphasized Zelensky as he congratulated the Navy on their day.

Navy Day has been celebrated since 2015 on the first Sunday of July, according to the Presidential decree of Ukraine dated June 12, 2015.
