Emergency Vehicle Accident in Odesa: The Importance of Road Safety

In Odesa, an ambulance was involved in an accident. The vehicle was responding with lights and sirens when a passenger car failed to yield at an intersection. The impact caused the ambulance to collide with another vehicle. Crew members sustained injuries.

The incident occurred on June 28 in the city center while the ambulance team was on its way to an emergency call. At the intersection on Mala Arnautskaya Street, a driver of a passenger car violated traffic rules and did not give way to the emergency vehicle, leading to the collision. The ambulance was pushed into a parked car.

The crew members, including a doctor, a paramedic, and an emergency medical technician, were hospitalized with stable conditions. The ambulance suffered significant damage.
