Introduction of a New Military Registry

On June 17, the Verkhovna Rada approved a new bill for the creation of a Unified State Registry of Military Personnel.

 "This step is crucial for establishing an efficient and modern system of accounting and service provision for the military."

The registry will serve as a digital platform enabling: faster and more accurate recording of personnel data; automatic generation of analytical reports on reserves; reduction of bureaucracy and human error," noted Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.

A key innovation will be the Military ID, a digital identifier that allows data exchange between registries without disclosing personal information.

According to Umerov, in the future, military personnel will be able to access social services, benefits, and bonuses through this system, including via the Army+ app.
