Illegal Land Seizure at Tuzlovski Lyman National Park
An incident has occurred at Tuzlovski Lyman National Park where an unknown individual has fenced off a section of land for sheep grazing.
Park staff discovered an illegal enclosure where sheep were being kept. This was reported by park employee Ivan Rusev.
“An unknown man has taken over a beautiful natural area between the old meanders of the river, simply enclosing his sizable flock with fences to prevent them from escaping and others from entering. This illegal grazing disrupts the natural habitat,” he stated.
Ivan Rusev noted that the park administration is currently searching for the offender and preparing the necessary materials for the police.
This is not the first instance of land seizure for livestock grazing; similar cases were recorded in 2018 and 2020.
