Tuition Compensation for Children of Defenders
The government will fully finance tuition for children of servicemen in the 2024/2025 academic year.
This information is provided by the "Diia" platform press service.
"The first 1,000 certificates are already being sent to this year's bachelor's and master's graduates. Expect notifications in "Diia"", – the message states.
If you have already received a notification, you should:
Open "Diia" → check your details in the certificate → confirm your consent via Diia.Signature within 20 days → you will then receive a notification about the results.
Funds from the state will be transferred directly to your educational institution, which will then reimburse you.
Compensation will be available for children (up to 23 years old):
- of deceased defenders of Ukraine;
- military personnel disabled due to the war;
- participants in combat actions;
- missing under special circumstances;
- captured due to armed aggression;
- victims of the Revolution of Dignity.
What is required for compensation:
- ID card or biometric passport in "Diia";
- verified taxpayer number;
- information about the student in the EDEBO and the status of the child of the corresponding veteran category;
- contractual form of education in 2024/2025.
