Achievements of the 'Odesa-Basket' Team at the National Billiards Championship

The sports club team for individuals with disabilities, 'Odesa-Basket', led by Vasyl Rybak, participated in the national billiards championship held in Kyiv.

The tournament took place from October 11 to 13, 2024, at the National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine.

On the first day, the overall team victory was claimed by Serhiy Kotsyuba, a war veteran and leading specialist of the rehabilitation service.

The following day, Serhiy Kotsyuba won the championship of Ukraine in billiards. The third place in the overall ranking was shared by Odesa players Dmytro Danylov and Valerii Chuhuiev.

'The experience of the 'Odesa-Basket' team is a powerful example of veterans' rehabilitation through sports', emphasized Vasyl Rybak.

A dedicated department has been established within the Department of Health of the Odesa City Council for coordinating rehabilitation assistance. The head of the department, Vasyl Rybak, personally holds weekly receptions for veterans and coordinates rehabilitation teams across the city.
