New Transportation Services for Disabled Individuals in Odesa

Since October 9, 2024, Odesa has introduced a new municipal initiative - «Social Taxi». In the initial period, around 40 requests have been received from individuals with disabilities.

To book a ride, simply call the short number 15-01 three days prior to your trip. The call is completely free from all mobile networks!

Additionally, you can fill out an online form on Odesa's official website, making the service even more accessible. The «Social Taxi» initiative is supported by the organization «Barrier-Free».

Free transportation is available for the following categories of disabled individuals:

• individuals with disabilities of groups I and II (with mobility impairments);
• children with disabilities (with mobility impairments);
• individuals with visual impairments of groups I and II.

«Social Taxi» is provided for travel within the city from residences to the following locations:

• local government offices;
• state executive authorities;
• courts;
• healthcare facilities;
• banks;
• social, cultural, and educational institutions;
• prosthetic and orthopedic companies;
• bus and railway stations;
• utilities providing services to the public.

*** As of October 1, 2024, Odesa is home to 63,000 individuals with disabilities, including over 4,500 with mobility impairments, 5,229 children with disabilities, and nearly 1,000 individuals with visual impairments.
