A New Wave of Rehabilitation for People with Disabilities in Odesa

The "Diesel Show" team has joined the effort to rehabilitate individuals with disabilities in Odesa. 
 
Diving represents a new step toward recovery for these individuals.

Underwater, a person experiences a sense of weightlessness, which is particularly significant for those who have undergone amputations. Water alleviates pressure on joints and muscles, allowing for relaxation while also providing an opportunity for training. Every movement underwater becomes smoother and more controlled, aiding in the restoration of coordination.

"By utilizing natural resources such as the sea and fresh air, with the involvement of specialists, we managed to create conditions for open water training in diving. During one of the dives, the "Diesel Show" team joined us, helping our veterans to interact confidently and enjoyably with instructors," said Vasyl Rybak, head of the rehabilitation service of the city’s Department of Health. 

Additionally, the artists from the show attended adaptive billiards training sessions.
