Youth Health Awareness Event

Last week, specialists from the «Youth-Friendly Clinic» at the Primary Healthcare Center No. 2, in collaboration with representatives from the Kyiv District Organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine, held an event titled «Know to Live!» for students of Odesa Lyceum No. 9.

During the training, participants learned about transmission methods, diagnostics, and prevention of HIV, viral hepatitis, and sexually transmitted diseases. They also discussed the risks associated with drug use. The students created and presented posters showcasing their vision of a healthy lifestyle.

Ludmila Kucherenco, the head of the «Youth-Friendly Clinic», shared information about the clinic's services and answered teenagers' questions.

The «Youth-Friendly Clinic» at Primary Healthcare Center No. 2 provides comprehensive medical and psychosocial support tailored to the specific needs of adolescents, ensuring a friendly approach and psychologically comfortable conditions for every client. Here, one can also get tested for HIV and hepatitis anonymously and free of charge.
