Enhancing Emergency Medical Services in Odesa Region
The Odesa region is making significant strides in enhancing its emergency medical services. Recently, a new ambulance was delivered to the «Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Emergency Medical Station».
The station suffered damage from enemy shelling. The partial loss of equipment posed a serious challenge for medical teams.
The addition of a new vehicle restores the capacity to respond swiftly, save lives, and provide assistance in the most difficult circumstances.
The handover of the ambulance was made possible through collaborative efforts:
- the president of the charity «International Horizons Development and Assistance Fund», rector of the Odesa International Academy, MD, professor Alireza Pahlavanzade;
- head of the Avanhard Village Council Serhiy Khrustovskyi;
- director of the «Avanhard Primary Health Care Center» Oleksandr Klymchuk.
- The initiative was launched by the director of the Odesa Regional Health Department — Oksana Rokunets-Sorochan.
The ambulance was officially transferred to the «Odesa Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine». The keys were handed over to the center's director — Ihor Kiyashko.
We thank everyone involved. In times of war, when every second can mean a life, such assistance is invaluable.
