Solar Power Initiatives for Healthcare Facilities in Odesa

The Ovidiopol and Bilyaivka hospitals have initiated the installation of solar power systems. This marks a significant move towards energy independence and uninterrupted operation of medical facilities, even during complete power outages.

The Ovidiopol hospital will be equipped with a power station of 70 kW

The Bilyaivka multi-profile hospital will become one of the most powerful in the region with a 500 kW power station

This project is being implemented under a memorandum between the hospitals and the Lithuanian company UAB Solet, supported by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, which allocated funds for the equipment.

The equipment is already on-site, and installation work is ongoing. Soon, both medical institutions will be able to operate partially autonomously, independent of the general power grid.
