New Opportunities for People with Disabilities in Odesa Region

In 2024, 4,400 individuals in the Odesa region benefited from state programs for acquiring prosthetics and rehabilitation aids.

This was reported by the press service of the Odesa Regional State Administration.

The allocated amount for these needs reached 226 million UAH.

Overall, last year the state invested over 5 billion UAH in providing Ukrainians with prosthetic devices, technical aids, and other rehabilitation materials.

Across the country, more than 416 thousand rehabilitation aids were issued, benefiting 108 thousand Ukrainians.

This is extremely important, as each prosthetic, wheelchair, orthosis, or other equipment provides an opportunity for people to move again, work, be close to loved ones, and live a full life, emphasized the Regional State Administration.
