Annual Emergency Medical Competitions in Odesa: How It Went

In the city of Odessa, annual competitions dedicated to emergency medical personnel were held. During the event, new vehicles and uniforms were presented to the medical staff. The regional administration was also involved in organizing the event. This was reported by the Health Department of the Odessa Regional State Administration.

The event took place at the transport unit of the Odessa Regional Center for Emergency Medical Assistance. The main goal was to enhance the professionalism and coordination of medical personnel in extreme conditions.

The organizers included the Odessa Regional State Administration and the Health Department. During the official part, the head of the OVA, Oleg Kiper, handed over the keys to 11 new emergency vehicles, which will be added to the Center's fleet and distributed among districts and the city of Odessa.

As part of the program «Health of Odesa Region», certificates for new specialized uniforms were also presented to the staff. Representatives of the National Police and the State Emergency Service expressed gratitude for the effective cooperation during the response to emergencies.

After the handover, a practical stage of the competition took place, with teams operating in conditions closely resembling real-life scenarios. The event culminated in a large-scale simulation of an emergency situation, which included representatives from the Red Cross of Ukraine.
