CDTO Campus Forms Alliance with GGTC Berlin: Advancing Digital Leadership

CDTO Campus has signed a memorandum with the Global Government Technology Centre (Berlin). This partnership aims to facilitate knowledge exchange in digital transformation and collaborative initiatives.

CDTO Campus's training programs will be integrated into the preparation of Germany's digital leaders. GovTech Campus Deutschland, in collaboration with TUM Think Tank, will incorporate Ukrainian expertise into its educational framework for training German digitalization specialists. 

Moreover, the memorandum, signed by Halyna Pustova, Director of CDTO Campus, Viktor Lyakh, President of the Eastern Europe Foundation, and Manuel Kilian, Executive Director of GGTC Berlin, outlines close cooperation in the fields of digital security and protection of public services. Ukraine will share unique cybersecurity solutions, including experiences in migrating public services to the cloud, implementing digital documents, and mechanisms to withstand cyberattacks. 

Valeria Ionan, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for European Integration, also attended the event.

It is worth noting that CDTO Campus is a national educational project aimed at training Chief Digital Transformation Officers (CDTOs) and specialists in the public sector to implement innovative projects in public administration, service delivery, and overall national digitalization. 

In 2024, CDTO Campus aims to prepare 440 digital transformation leaders and launch 12 programs, some in collaboration with leading companies such as Microsoft, Cisco, Apolitical, and other international partners. 

CDTO Campus is implemented by the Eastern Europe Foundation, funded by Visa Foundation, the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ), and supported by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, in collaboration with Digitality GovTech Centre of Excellence, under the patronage of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
