Innovative approach of Nova Poshta to quality control

29 November 2025

Nova Post has launched an innovative AI-based tool that takes daily photos of each logistics facility and reports on compliance with standards.

According to Forbes Ukraine, citing the R&D director of Nova, Yevgeny Khomenko, this initiative has allowed the company to save costs on physical inspections from top management and improve service quality.

The executive explained that prior to this tool's implementation, the company relied on standard inspections: a regional manager would visit partner facilities, notifying them of the visit in advance. "He arrives, and everything is as per the book. Then we see that customers report somewhat differently," he noted.

The R&D director revealed that Nova has implemented technology that enables automatic monitoring of compliance with standards — the entire network of company branches is equipped with cameras and must meet certain criteria outlined in a checklist.

It is noted that AI takes daily photos of every branch and immediately analyzes them for compliance. "Where is our employee? Is he in uniform? Are marketing communications in their places? Is the trash bin overflowing?" — explained Yevgeny Khomenko.

The specialist pointed out that through automation, the company has significantly reduced the time and resources spent on quality control across different branches while also enhancing service quality. "We are training our AI models to provide recommendations that improve interactions with business partners. We have ceased collaboration with some partners because technologies, particularly AI, can replace their services," concluded the executive.

As reported by Nova Post on July 31, 2025, in the first half of 2025, the operator processed 238 million parcels and cargo, which is 7% more than the same period in 2024. From January to September 2025, the company increased its consolidated net profit by 35.1% compared to the previous year — reaching 2.876 billion UAH; consolidated net revenue rose by 21.7% — to 45.727 billion UAH.

As previously mentioned, Nova Post is preparing to test completely new models of parcel lockers. This includes four solutions: plastic parcel lockers, foam modular constructors, custom drop boxes, and CONVENIQ.

"All these solutions are currently being prepared for testing in Ukraine. If successful, these innovations will be rolled out in cities and villages across the country," recently stated the largest commercial logistics company in Ukraine.

Also, we remind you that starting from December 1, 2025, Nova Post will update its tariffs. It is noted that the tariff updates are necessary to maintain the usual speed and quality of service. At the same time, the delivery tariffs for packages up to 2 kg and shipments from villages will remain unchanged.
