YouTube Introduces New Animations for Enhanced User Engagement
YouTube has rolled out an innovative feature that displays short animations after clicking the "like" button on selected videos. This comes as part of the October update aimed at improving the user interface and content interaction, according to The Verge.
Currently, there are 20 different animations available that change based on the video's theme. For instance, in motorsport videos, the button turns into a smoky tire, while in educational clips, it transforms into a glowing light bulb. Options are also available for sports, travel videos, and animal content.
Designer Andreas Storm compiled all the effects into two short clips on platform X, noting that YouTube has not yet added animations for children's videos.
Additionally, YouTube is introducing the Super Resolution feature on televisions, which will enhance video quality using artificial intelligence.
