Anduril Unveils Revolutionary Mixed Reality System for Military Use

14 October 2025

Anduril, a leader in military technology development, has partnered with Meta to unveil EagleEye, a cutting-edge mixed reality (MR) system.

EagleEye is designed to be integrated into soldiers' helmets, optimizing weight distribution and reducing the size of traditional night vision goggles, allowing for better sensor alignment. This innovation is set to become a standard in military operations.

According to Anduril's founder Palmer Luckey, "We are not just providing a new tool; we are offering a new teammate for our military personnel." The integration of AI into EagleEye marks a significant milestone in technological advancement.

EagleEye facilitates mission command through a high-quality shared 3D interface, enabling operators to rehearse missions, coordinate movements, and integrate live video feeds.

Anduril emphasizes that the HUD enhances operator visibility by overlaying critical information onto the real world. EagleEye features both a daytime and a nighttime HUD, each tailored for specific environments.

The 'blue force' tracking system allows military personnel to accurately locate their comrades, enhancing situational awareness on the battlefield. The Lattice network collects real-time data, enabling threat detection even in obstructed visibility conditions.

Additionally, EagleEye offers ballistic protection to mitigate blast waves and is equipped with rear and side view sensors, spatial audio, and radio frequency detection capabilities.

Operating with EagleEye, users can control drones, call for fire support, and coordinate actions with robotic allies. The Lattice mesh network ensures robust command and control in degraded or restricted environments.
