UA DroneID System: Innovations for Drone Security

26 September 2025

The UA DroneID identification system, developed in collaboration with Cossack Labs, significantly enhances drone safety on the battlefield, reducing instances of their incapacitation by 90%. This was reported by Defence Media. The technology, introduced in 2023, is actively employed in combat scenarios. UA DroneID operates in real time, transmitting telemetry, mission data, and combat results, including confirmation of hits. All information is integrated into battle IT systems, including DELTA, allowing for effective monitoring of drone activities and avoiding friendly fire incidents.
The system is compatible with various platforms, from reconnaissance drones to ground robotic systems. Currently, over 15 manufacturers are connected to the ecosystem, with several more in the process of integration.
Cossack Labs is responsible for the protocol architecture and data protection, while the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ministry of Defense coordinate implementation and system adjustments. Aerorozvidka, in conjunction with the Innovation Center, facilitates the integration of manufacturers into DELTA.
Developers plan to further enhance the protocol, expand platform compatibility, improve positioning accuracy, and strengthen physical protection against potential enemy capture.
