Samsung Account Policy Update

Recently, Samsung has introduced significant updates to its account policy, which will take effect on July 31, 2025. Specifically, starting on this date, the company will remove accounts that have been inactive for 24 months, according to Sammobile.

If a user has not logged into their Samsung account or utilized it for authentication with the company's services for two years, their account will be deemed inactive and subject to deletion. Subsequently, access to the account will be revoked, and all associated data will be permanently erased.

To prevent deletion, Samsung advises users to log into their account before July 31 or use any company service that requires authentication. Additionally, the company will send email reminders to owners of inactive accounts to encourage them to log in.

This policy aims to enhance the security of user data that has not been accessed for an extended period. Therefore, those who have not used their Samsung account for a long time should check its activity to avoid losing access.
