Samsung Expands Access to Its Apps for Windows Users

Samsung has decided to make its applications accessible to all Windows users, regardless of whether they own a Galaxy laptop. This was reported by Sammobile.

Previously, apps like Samsung Notes, Samsung Gallery, and Samsung Account were only available for Galaxy laptops, but now they can be downloaded onto any computer running Windows 10 or 11. Users can find these apps in the Microsoft Store.

However, some applications require authentication via a Samsung Account, and the Samsung Notes app may inform users that it is optimized for Galaxy Book, which could lead to minor issues on other devices.

Currently, the Microsoft Store offers apps such as Gallery, Cloud, Screen Recorder, Galaxy Buds, Bixby, Samsung Studio, Phone, and more. However, the Samsung Find app is still only available on Galaxy laptops.

This move by Samsung is significant as it expands the Galaxy ecosystem for all Windows users, offering access to proprietary applications to a wider audience.
