Celebration of Bulgarian Culture in Odesa

On October 26, 2024, Odesa hosted a festive concert titled "Celebration of Bulgarian Culture", dedicated to the Day of Bessarabian Bulgarians in Ukraine.

The concert featured performances from various groups across the Odesa region, including:

- the folk dance ensemble «Bessarabia» from Bolgrad (director - Petar Dimitrov);

- the dance ensemble «Kulevchantsi» from Kulevcha village, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district (director - Anastasia Kimurzhy);

- the Bulgarian dance ensemble «Kamchik» from Kamchik village, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district (director - Svitlana Sulakova).

Also performing at the concert was the renowned Bulgarian singer Desi Dobreva, under whose songs the audience and participants danced the traditional Bulgarian "horo".

This event took place as part of the multicultural weeks in Odesa, organized by the Odesa Municipal Theater named after O. Salik.
